The perfect transition jacket for employees
Softshell jackets are popular as transition jackets especially in spring, summer and autumn – and for good reason. But do you really know what a softshell jacket is and what’s so good about it? We take a closer look at this below, where we describe three reasons to choose a softshell.

‘Softshell’ is a generic term for outerwear that is water resistant so it can withstand a rain shower while also being windproof and breathable. This makes the garment very practical – especially in somewhat unpredictable weather.

The softshell material is incredibly stretchy and durable, making it an obvious choice for employees with an active job requiring freedom of movement when wearing the jacket. In short, softshell jackets are particularly appreciated for providing good freedom of movement.

At times when a softshell jacket isn’t warm enough, you can easily combine it with a comfortable soft fleece sweater, using the fleece as an extra layer. The stretchability of the softshell jacket means it’s comfortable to wear with a fleece top underneath.
